Data Analytics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable data solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards.
• Write optimized and efficient SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets.
• Ensure dashboards and queries are optimized for scalability and speed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics/engineering or business intelligence.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong background in SQL (writing complex queries and performance tuning).
• Experience with creating data visualizations.
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Postgres databases is a plus.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools to ensure data pipeline health.
• Implement small-scale web applications/APIs or UI components to support data analytics needs.
• Handle and analyze time series data efficiently.
• Creating custom visualizations in web apps and/or python.
• Experience working on hardware products.
