About the position

The Data Labeling Analyst position at Rose International is a critical role within the Global Response Organization, focusing on ensuring user and business safety across the Client's platforms. This position is based in Austin, TX, and is strictly onsite. The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated team that operates 24/7, responding to real-time crises and proactively identifying emerging risks associated with harmful content and malicious actors. The role requires a strong understanding of the Client's Community Standards and the ability to work with graphic and objectionable content. As a Data Labeling Analyst, you will leverage your analytical skills to gather, analyze, and utilize data from escalations and content reviews. This data will be instrumental in developing improvements for the escalation process, policies, and products, ultimately generating operational insights that support the community. You will also be responsible for interpreting and enforcing Client terms of service, investigating reported risks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement tailored mitigation plans. In addition to these core responsibilities, the role includes basic program and project management tasks aimed at enhancing platform safety and security. You will assist in planning, executing, and monitoring projects, ensuring that operational KPIs are met and exceeded. Your ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with stakeholders across various functions will be crucial in driving program communications and collaboration. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on user safety and community trust while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an expert to interpret and enforce Client terms of service, including Community Standards and Advertiser & Commerce Policies.
  • Investigate and resolve emerging risks reported on Client products, including requests for account support and potentially abusive content.
  • Gather, analyze, and utilize data from escalations and content/ad reviews to develop improvements for the escalation process and generate operational insights.
  • Define project scope, develop and execute plans, and drive risk and compliance activities as part of general program management.
  • Drive effective program communications and collaboration, including root cause analysis and business recommendations for broader stakeholder groups.
  • Showcase grace under pressure and ensure effective collaboration with multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Adapt to changing requirements and prioritize escalation requests effectively.
  • Liaise closely with Client vendor teams to ensure operational KPIs meet and exceed targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in Trust & Safety or Online Operations for a tech company, consulting, operations, or similar roles.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) for driving analytics, reporting, and operational decision-making.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across functional boundaries and globally.
  • Ability to work with graphic and objectionable content and a broad understanding of Client's Community Standards.
  • Experience driving collaboration of cross-functional teams and coordinating effectively.
