About the position
Clayco is offering an internship for a Data Analytics & Engineering Intern, aimed at motivated individuals seeking hands-on experience in data analytics and data science. The role involves supporting analytics and engineering teams, working with real data, and contributing to various projects under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business teams in data collection, cleansing, preparation, and analysis.
- Apply programming skills in SQL and Python for data manipulation tasks.
- Develop and enhance analytical data models.
- Create reports and presentations to communicate findings to the team.
- Explore Data Science models with data scientists.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Previous coursework or projects demonstrating an interest in data analysis is a plus.
- Demonstrated analytical aptitude and a strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic programming knowledge, especially SQL and Python.
- Desire to expand knowledge in data analytics and engineering.
