About the position

The Data Analytics Expert will utilize state-of-the-art technologies and practices to provide data-driven and actionable insights, enabling decision-making to optimize business strategies across Philips Integrated Supply Chain (ISC). This role involves extensive data analysis, building visualizations, and creating dashboards to support various business functions. The expert will be responsible for providing analytics on the efficacy and efficiency of design, product, and processes throughout the product lifecycle. In this position, the Data Analytics Expert will lead and redefine an Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) process reporting framework, establishing a single source of truth for data management and collection. Continuous improvement projects will be a key focus, as feedback is gathered from key stakeholders across the organization. Building relationships and trust within the Philips community is essential for success in this large multinational company. The role will also involve utilizing software development and validation methods as part of the development, release, and maintenance of analytic tools. Compliance with applicable global regulations and standards is critical, ensuring that operational activities align with the requirements of external governing authorities, internal Quality Management Systems (QMS), and Philips business process methodologies. As part of the ISC Operations Quality team, the expert will continuously evaluate the effectiveness of overall processes to identify gaps or areas for improvement and propose solutions to mitigate risks. Reporting to the Head of Quality-Integrated Supply Chain, the expert will partner with businesses, markets, functions, and suppliers to understand and mitigate operational risks while driving continuous improvement initiatives. This hybrid-based role may require travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytics to the Business and Functions on the efficacy and efficiency of design, product, and processes throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Lead and redefine an Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) process reporting framework, establishing a single source of truth for data management and collection.
  • Build relationships and trust across the Philips community to ensure success in a large multinational company.
  • Utilize software development and validation methods for the development, release, and maintenance of analytic tools.
  • Drive compliance with applicable global regulations and standards, ensuring operational activities meet external and internal requirements.
  • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of overall processes to resolve gaps or areas for improvement and propose solutions to mitigate risk.
  • Partner with businesses, markets, functions, and suppliers to understand and mitigate risks related to operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in data management/analytics with a strong understanding of data analytics tools, methods, and analysis within a regulated environment (FDA regulated Medical Device/Pharma preferred).
  • Experience in driving improvements for Data/Tooling from requirements collection through Validation and Release.
  • Advanced data collection development skills with tools such as Excel, Power Apps, Power BI, Microsoft List, etc.
  • Strong capabilities in dynamic data analysis and understanding the drivers that underpin data sets, preferably with LEAN principles.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Data Science/Analytics, Engineering, or other relevant disciplines (Required); Master's Degree desired.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills with highly developed emotional intelligence to ensure strong working relationships across disciplines.
  • Experience working in a global, matrix organization preferred.
