About the position

The Network Operations Analyst IV plays a crucial role in supporting the data and business analysis needs of Network Operations. This position requires a deep understanding of business processes and advanced technical capabilities to provide analytical insights. The analyst will leverage data to identify strategic opportunities, drive improvements, and foster innovation within the Network Operations team.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize network performance through statistical analysis using key data points.
  • Provide business analysis and support for Network Operations by generating complex ad hoc reports and creating high-quality dashboards.
  • Develop high-quality graphs, reports, and presentations of data results.
  • Perform statistical analyses for Network Operations business units.
  • Leverage data insights to identify and support strategic opportunities, such as optimizing network performance and enhancing service delivery.
  • Analyze business partner operations to identify strengths and weaknesses for process automation.
  • Facilitate communication between business units and Network Operations from initial requirements to final implementation.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in data sets.
  • Present complex data sets and information in an understandable manner.
  • Work on multiple projects as a team member, occasionally leading projects.
  • Coach less experienced staff and perform special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum eight (8) years of experience in data query techniques and report building.
  • Minimum eight (8) years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
  • Minimum eight (8) years of experience with SQL and industry-specific database systems.
  • Minimum six (6) years of experience with report building toolsets such as Tableau.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience with AWS tools and services.
  • Leadership and project management experience.

  • Master's Degree
  • Advanced Cable Industry certifications
  • Ability to develop and implement data collection systems for statistical efficiency and data quality.
  • Ability to acquire and abstract data from internal or external sources.
  • Ability to automate routines to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Programming skills (VBA, etc.).
  • Network Operations experience.
