About the position
The Data Analytics Manager at Panasonic is responsible for leading and executing the data and reporting transformation vision within the Supply Chain. This role focuses on managing the data and analytics function to support Logistics and Procurement, producing quality analysis, performance dashboards, and business operations reports. The manager will work closely with various stakeholders to enhance supply chain operations and ensure accurate reporting, while also overseeing a team of analysts and outsourced vendors.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the data and reporting transformation vision for the Supply Chain.
- Manage the data and analytics function supporting Logistics and Procurement.
- Produce quality analysis, performance dashboards, and business operations reports.
- Support logistics and procurement management in planning and executing supply chain strategy.
- Own and deliver high-quality performance KPI scorecards and business reports.
- Create and manage supply chain performance scorecards using PowerBI.
- Provide analysis reports for Inbound, warehouse, and outbound logistics, identifying solutions to problem areas.
- Conduct procurement cost and KPI performance analysis.
- Create and update monthly business presentations for Monthly Business Reviews.
- Provide analysis for lean continuous improvement projects and business case support.
- Develop benchmarking to understand competitive supply chain factors.
- Ensure efficient use of resources with clear roles and responsibilities to meet reporting deadlines.
- Continuously improve and monitor supply chain data accuracy and corrective actions.
- Lead and manage the Business Intelligence team and outsourced vendors.
- Ensure smooth communication between outsourcers and Panasonic for timely report submissions.
- Prepare Data Governance and Data Quality roadmap and execute it.
- Manage data integrity and serve as a subject matter expert in partnership with IT for Data Warehouse improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum BA degree in Data Analytics, Business, or Logistics preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive supply chain analysis experience.
- Managerial experience in logistics and/or transportation field preferred.
- Advanced PC skills, including MS Office, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel required.
- Good understanding of supply chain, including procurement and logistics.
- Advanced knowledge and skills for Business Objects preferred.

- Experience with PowerBI and data visualization tools.
