About the position

The Data Analytics Scrum Master will be a key member of the Data Analytics product team, responsible for guiding the team through agile ceremonies and managing work using JIRA. This role involves serving as a servant leader, promoting agile principles, and ensuring the team's effectiveness in delivering data-driven initiatives. The Scrum Master will also contribute to data initiatives by overseeing the delivery of data pipelines, reports, and dashboards, while coaching the team on continuous improvement and agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Guide the Scrum Team's focus on creating high-value increments that meet the Definition of Done.
• Remove impediments to the Scrum Team's progress.
• Ensure that all Scrum events take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox.
• Shield the team from external influences.
• Guide the team on using agile values, principles, and framework practices to delight customers.
• Help define Product Goals and manage the Product Backlog effectively.
• Establish empirical product planning for complex environments.
• Assess the agile health of the team and coach them to higher levels of fluency.
• Facilitate discussion, decision making, conflict resolution, and continuous improvement.
• Build a trusting and safe environment for the team.
• Coordinate with Project Management and participate in the Scrum of Scrums.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or a high school diploma/GED with 10 years of progressive relevant experience.
• 5 years of relevant experience in data analytics or related fields.
• 4 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
• 3 years of experience in delivering products or projects in a leadership or project team role.
• 2 years of experience with Agile tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
• SAFe® Certified Scrum Master
• Experience with Power BI
• Experience with Snowflake / AWS cloud
• Experience with Dataiku
• 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist
• 2 years of SQL code writing
• Experience with Jira.
