About the position
The Data Analytics Software Engineer at Stefanini Group is responsible for developing a state-of-the-art connected vehicle analytics platform aimed at enhancing product quality and value. This role focuses on data transformation and requires expertise in crafting complex analytic solutions using Python and PySpark within an Agile framework. The engineer will work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and designers to deliver actionable insights and facilitate rapid deployment of solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop complex analytic solutions utilizing Python and PySpark.
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver insights.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in an Agile environment.
- Manage intricate data transformations and ensure data quality.
- Deploy solutions rapidly and frequently to meet business needs.
Requirements
- 6 years of overall work experience in delivering customer-facing products.
- 2 years of strong development experience in Python and/or Java on a Public Cloud Platform.
- Proficient in Object-Oriented Design principles.
- Solid understanding of Google Cloud technologies including DataProc, BigQuery, Cloud Run, and Astronomer.
- Strong grasp of Big Data and Analytics methodologies.
Nice-to-haves
- Ability to architect solutions from design to delivery.
- Experience coaching and mentoring peers.
- Experience developing software for an Automotive/Manufacturing company.
