About the position

The Data and AI Architect at Pierce Washington is responsible for designing and implementing data-driven solutions and AI models that enhance business value, particularly through the Salesforce platform. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to build scalable architectures, integrate AI technologies, and enhance the overall data strategy within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust data architectures and frameworks to support data ingestion, storage, processing, and analytics, focusing on Salesforce integration.
  • Lead the development and deployment of machine learning models and AI applications, ensuring seamless integration within Salesforce and ERP platforms.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to define data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Establish and promote best practices for data management, governance, and quality assurance, ensuring data integrity across Salesforce.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies and tools to optimize data and AI strategy.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members across multiple practice areas.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and security standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Data Architect, AI Architect, or similar role, with expertise in Salesforce environments.
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Proficiency in machine learning frameworks and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and data solutions (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in designing real-time data processing systems that work across Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
