About the position

As a Senior Technical Product and Program Manager within the Data and Analytics organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping product innovation and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position involves developing product strategies, managing product backlogs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to launch new products that deliver significant value to customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers.
• Manage discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap.
• Own, maintain, and develop a product backlog that supports the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition.
• Build the framework and track the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability.
• Structure and build quantitative and conceptual analyses.
• Develop strategic priorities for the product team, providing an objective perspective on business' current and future needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across data foundation products, engineering, and business products to proactively identify issues and design solutions.
• Lead interactions with business leaders, data owners, and analytics executives, conduct demos of new functionalities/product features, and drive adoption.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
• Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics.
• Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
• Ability to structure and scope complex problems and apply a range of analytical tools to develop solutions.
• Ability to collaborate and build relationships across all levels, including senior executives, in different lines of business, technology, and product teams.
• Advanced MS PowerPoint and Excel skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization.
• Recent experience working in a client-facing role, such as experience with a top management consulting firm or technology product companies.
• Experience with AWS data foundational products such as data lakes, data pipelines, and with AI/ML-related technologies and tools.
