About the position
To coordinate the collection and analysis of relevant data for the purpose of assessing and improving the department and its impact across the institution. To improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the department by supporting current and growing needs.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates the assessment of strategic initiatives, events, and/or projects developed by the department for the campus community and proposes new initiatives as needed.
- Responsible for providing oversight, coordination, guidance, and strategic implementation of data collection, assessment, and improvement of departmental activities across campus.
- Assists with developing and implementing assessment plans and processes related to office activities to fulfill the departments goals and objectives.
- Establishes data gathering and analysis techniques within the department.
- Supports and manages data and assessment needs including annual reports, program engagement, and other relevant areas; ensures compliance and may prepare reports for accreditation agencies.
- Coordinates relevant reports, surveys, and assessments; serves as a liaison with other institutional research and assessment offices and efforts on campus.
- Generates and distributes outcome/assessment reports for the project and/or program.
- May coordinate data needs relevant for accreditation purposes.
- Leverages new and existing technology to increase the efficiency and impact of office initiatives and work.
- Supports the efforts of other stakeholders within the department to ensure relevant data is tracked, assessed, and strategic change is managed and implemented.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Two (2) years of relevant experience, including experience evaluating and assessing initiatives, program implementation and / or monitoring and preparing internal assessment reports.
