About the position

The Data and Business Intelligence Analyst at Team JAS, Inc. is responsible for transforming the approach to Business Intelligence and Data Management. This role involves collaborating with business leaders to develop key metrics and insights that drive informed decision-making and shape business strategy. The position requires a blend of strong management skills and technical expertise, particularly in report writing, business intelligence, and SQL.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business units to enhance business intelligence functions supporting strategic goals.
  • Provide analytical support to senior management on high-priority initiatives, crafting impactful presentations that highlight key insights and recommendations.
  • Develop frameworks for analyzing complex business challenges and assessing the impact of trends.
  • Leverage KPIs, business performance data, and customer insights to create analytical tools and reports that support decision-making.
  • Collect and analyze data, ensuring robust processes for identifying and addressing variations against expectations.
  • Lead efforts to gather reporting and dashboard requirements, establishing a reporting cadence with business unit leaders.
  • Identify, document, and maintain key data assets essential to business operations.
  • Transform raw data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Design, modify, maintain, and document company-wide reports.
  • Help maintain data within the Oracle database.
  • Manage ITL (Import, Transform, Load) processes as needed.
  • Develop and maintain organization databases.
  • Collaborate with business users to understand needs and develop Microsoft PowerApp solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, data science, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
  • Experience in design of applications and software using Java programming language.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Power App, and Oracle.
  • Strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Quantum Component Control.
  • Experience with Python coding.
