The Data and Business Intelligence Architect plays a pivotal role in shaping the data architecture at Chesapeake Utilities Corporation. Additionally, you will evaluate and recommend emerging technologies for data management, storage, and analytics. You will also define and implement the long-term technology strategy and innovation roadmaps across analytics, data engineering, and data platforms. Engaging with senior business stakeholders is crucial to ensure that project delivery aligns with longer-term strategic roadmaps. You will lead and participate in peer reviews and quality assurance of project architecture across the organization through governance forums, defining and managing standards, guidelines, and processes to ensure data quality. Your responsibilities will also include simplifying the existing data architecture, delivering reusable services, and identifying cost-saving opportunities in line with company policies and standards. You will lead projects involving data warehousing, data modeling, and data analysis, providing proactive communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
