Working closely with the Consulting Marketing Leader and the RSM Business Leader for Data and Digital Services, the Data and Digital Services Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing a comprehensive marketing strategy and go-to-market plan that helps RSM to grow its Data and Digital Services business at scale. This individual will be responsible for assisting in the development of marketing plans that support our Data Analytics, Application Development, and Point Solution capabilities across consulting. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of co-marketing with software partners, technology, and AI, and deep expertise in the development of effective marketing strategies in the B2B space. Essential Duties include working closely with key business leaders to develop and implement a marketing strategy in support of our data analytics, application development, and Point Solution capabilities. The role requires a deep understanding of the business and strategic priorities, including growth targets, and the ability to embed oneself within the Data and Digital Services team as a member of their leadership team. The Marketing Manager will also need to understand the marketplace, buyer personas, and represent the “voice-of-the-client” back to the business, ensuring incorporation into the marketing and go-to-market strategies and plans. The position involves developing and securing buy-in for the marketing strategy, providing a deep understanding of buyer preferences/needs, and working with subject matter experts to facilitate the creation of content. The Marketing Manager will serve as the primary interface with Demand Generation to provide inputs and guidance related to the translation of the marketing strategy to the demand program strategy. Additionally, the role includes defining and being accountable for key marketing metrics, collaborating with various teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategies, and managing industry/service line web content.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a marketing strategy in support of data analytics, application development, and Point Solution capabilities.
  • Understand business and strategic priorities, including growth targets.
  • Embed within the Data and Digital Services team as a member of their leadership team.
  • Understand the marketplace and buyer personas, representing the 'voice-of-the-client' back to the business.
  • Develop and secure buy-in for the marketing strategy, including target audiences and value propositions.
  • Provide deep understanding of buyer preferences/needs and RSM positioning to create content.
  • Serve as the primary interface with Demand Generation for marketing strategy translation.
  • Define and be accountable for key marketing metrics such as pipeline and leads.
  • Collaborate with Industry, Tax, Audit, and Consulting marketers to ensure alignment of marketing strategies.
  • Evaluate requests for marketing support and determine validity for inclusion in program framework.
  • Work directly with the COE on marketing enablement needs and serve as the initial reviewer on all material.
  • Manage industry/service line web content and collaborate on page revisions and updates.
  • Participate in marketing learning and development to build skills and capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5-7 years of leading marketing/growth experience in a B2B environment.
  • Experience in working with application providers to develop joint go-to-marketing plans is preferred.
  • Understanding of data analytics, AI, and application development preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent project management, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to learn new subject areas quickly.
  • Thorough understanding of various marketing channels.
  • Strong sense of ownership and determination to get things done.
  • Highly collaborative and able to work within a team to achieve stated goals.
