About the position

The Data and Reporting Analyst at MedImpact Healthcare Systems is responsible for analyzing Medicaid pharmacy data and preparing routine reports for clients. This role focuses on the analytical evaluation of pharmacy data, supporting Medicaid program operations, and requires expertise in data extraction tools and analytics. The analyst will work collaboratively with teams to enhance reporting and dashboard capabilities, ensuring high-quality service delivery in the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze Medicaid performance data and prepare routine reports for clients.
  • Provide qualitative and financial evaluations of Requests for Proposals (RFP) and PBM Contracts.
  • Perform repricing analyses and trend evaluations to forecast PBM and plan performance.
  • Develop models for detailed analyses of pharmacy data, including claims and quality measures.
  • Support the completion of proposals and marketing materials.
  • Create complex analyses to promote innovation through data.
  • Collaborate with teams to design analyses and dashboards for users.
  • Investigate non-pharmacy data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with data needs for Medicaid program development.
  • Perform impact analyses for regulatory and market changes.
  • Work closely with Clinical Program Managers to create research materials.
  • Utilize multiple databases while adhering to reporting protocols.
  • Recommend enhancements to reporting and dashboards.
  • Promote continuous improvement and participate in business initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience analyzing pharmacy data at a health plan or PBM.
  • Experience in Medicaid or government programs preferred.
  • Knowledge of PBM underwriting and pharmacy reimbursement processes.
  • Intermediate skills in SQL or SAS coding.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Access.
