About the position

The Data and Research Scientist position at Branex Group is a contract role focused on leveraging data science and analytics to support the Cadillac Global Strategy & Operations Team. The role emphasizes innovation and the development of analytical solutions to enhance business outcomes, particularly within the auto industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and the ability to communicate complex data insights effectively.

Responsibilities

• Work as an integral member within the Cadillac Global Strategy & Operations Team, focusing on innovation and analytics.
• Develop analytical solutions to address and improve KPIs and business results.
• Identify problems and impacts across large vehicle populations using data mining, predictive modeling, simulation, and visualization techniques.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience using data to solve problems and create visualizations.
• 8+ years of experience in data architecture and database management.
• 8+ years of professional development experience.
• Solid experience with Big Data technologies in Data Bricks platform using Python/R.
• Master's degree in STEM fields required.
• Ph.D. in STEM fields preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the auto industry is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong data storytelling and communication skills.
