About the position

The Data and Research Scientist position at Branex Group is a full-time contract role focused on innovation and analytics within the Cadillac Global Strategy & Operations Team. The role emphasizes the development and execution of global strategy, research, and operations projects through advanced data analysis and automation. The successful candidate will mentor junior team members, stay updated on technological advancements, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance data-driven decision-making and improve business results.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Advanced Data Analysis and Automation by performing in-depth analysis and designing search patterns.
• Mentor junior researchers and data scientists to enhance their analytical skills and foster a collaborative learning environment.
• Stay informed on technological advancements and ideate on how to apply them to meet research and strategy objectives.
• Establish strong working relationships with interdisciplinary teams and apply appropriate statistical techniques to data.
• Drive the acquisition of new data and refine existing datasets to ensure data quality and relevance.
• Create best practices for research instrumentation and experimentation and share these practices with peer teams.
• Develop analytics to support complex event processing and real-time data analysis in big data contexts.
• Serve as an expert in predictive and prescriptive analytics, ensuring research aligns with industry best practices.
• Use a structured approach for communicating data insights through data storytelling.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience using data to solve problems, hypothesis testing, and creating visualizations and storytelling to address business problems.
• 8+ years of experience in data architecture and database management.
• 8+ years of professional development experience.
• Solid experience with Big Data technologies in Data Bricks platform using Python/R.
• Master's degree in STEM fields required; Ph.D. in STEM fields preferred.
