About the position

The Data Architect position focuses on OLAP and OLTP systems, requiring extensive knowledge in document structure models and cloud-based tools. The role involves hands-on technical work within a large organization, collaborating with application architects and other architectural functions to model data, convert models, and map data effectively. The position supports daily responsibilities that include data wrangling, sourcing data for optimal consumption, and ensuring data integrity across systems.

Responsibilities

• Work with OLAP and OLTP workloads expertise.
• Engage in modeling exercises and convert models.
• Map data and communicate business requirements to data structures.
• Collaborate with application architects on data modeling.
• Deliver data across services and ensure consistency across systems.
• Implement fact and dimension architecture in data warehousing.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of OLAP/OLTP and document structure models (non-relational).
• Experience with Azure Databricks or similar cloud tools (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake).
• Proficiency in object-based/document modeling in NoSQL.
• Familiarity with Git for version control.
• 5+ years of experience in a senior data architect role.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Boomi and its integration into overall data solutions.
• Knowledge of SQL Server.
