The Data Architect position is a long-term contract role that requires a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in data management solution architecture and design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graph technologies, particularly with tools such as Neo4j, TigerGraph, Anzo DB, and GraphQL. This role is critical in shaping the data architecture strategy and ensuring that the data solutions align with the business objectives and technical requirements of the organization. The Data Architect will work closely with multi-functional teams in a dynamic environment, leveraging their expertise to drive the implementation of data solutions that support analytics and AI/ML integration. In this role, the Data Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing data management solutions that utilize graph data modeling and visualization techniques. The candidate should have a solid understanding of graph query languages such as GraphQL, openCypher, SparQL, and Gremlin. Additionally, experience with Knowledge Graph and Virtual Graph technologies will be beneficial. The Data Architect will also be expected to have a strong grasp of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban, to effectively manage projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The position requires leadership skills to navigate large organizations and influence stakeholders across the enterprise. The Data Architect will need to communicate effectively with both technical and business teams, presenting complex data architecture concepts in an understandable manner. Furthermore, the candidate should possess expert knowledge in data architecture, databases, and tools related to data quality, management, and performance optimization. Experience with cloud service providers, specifically AWS and Azure, is essential, as the architect will evaluate, prototype, and recommend emerging cloud data technologies and platforms.
