This full-time position involves responsibilities as a Data Architect / Data Engineer with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) experience. The ideal candidate will possess high energy, a positive attitude, a keen attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to success. The candidate will be part of the Data Architecture Practice, supporting major initiatives in Marketing, Sales, and Service, as well as Portfolio management. This role requires a strong architect with comprehensive knowledge of data architecture, hands-on experience in data model design, data quality analysis, and a good understanding of data analytics architecture. As Information/Data Architects, candidates will collaborate with enterprise architects, solution architects, business, and product teams to create strategies, design data models, and information flows, perform data quality analysis, set standards and best practices, and guide product teams in the implementation of the design.

Responsibilities

• Lead design discussions and create conceptual data models, logical data models, and data dictionaries.
• Manage and maintain data models.
• Define reporting strategy and identify sources for reporting data.
• Perform data quality analysis, identify issues, and propose solutions to resolve them.
• Guide product teams to create physical data model designs and data dictionaries.
• Review design adherence and ensure standards, guidelines, and best practices are followed.
• Consult and guide product teams through design and implementation.
• Create information architecture roadmaps with now, near, and far views.
• Facilitate discussions to understand the source of data, establish systems of record, and create current and future state data flows.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Data Modeling experience with expertise in Relational and/or Dimensional Analysis.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Warehouse database design.
• Deep understanding of data modeling principles and architecture concepts.
• Extensive experience designing databases supporting complex business processes.
• Experience in supporting database technologies such as Oracle, DB2, Teradata, Hadoop, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and GCP Big Query.
• Knowledge of Data Analytics and Google Cloud Technologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Good collaborative and communication skills.
• Experience with data modeling in an enterprise tool such as Power Designer or ERWIN.
• Capable of working well individually and as a team member.
• Additional preferred experience in Salesforce and ServiceNow.
