The Data Architect-Databricks Specialist role at Centric Consulting involves designing and implementing data architectures using Databricks and Delta Lake technologies. Responsibilities

• Validate and gather comprehensive business and technical requirements for complex data initiatives.
• Design and implement robust data architectures using Databricks and Delta Lake technologies.
• Develop scalable data models that support critical banking applications and analytics platforms.
• Create and maintain data governance frameworks aligned with financial regulatory requirements.
• Architect solutions that ensure data quality, performance, and compliance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with data engineers, business analysts, and senior leadership.
• Lead technical design reviews and provide architectural guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.
• 3-5 years of professional experience with Databricks platform.
• Expert-level knowledge of Delta Lake architecture.
• Proven experience in designing enterprise data solutions.
• Strong background in data modeling and dimensional design.
• Experience in SQL, PySpark, and Spark optimization techniques.
• Experience with Databricks workspace and runtime environments.
• Experience with Azure Cloud platforms.
