About the position

As a Data Architect, Director at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will play a pivotal role in initiating and leading data architecture activities. This includes overseeing extract-transform-load (ETL) processes and designing data warehouse solutions based on comprehensive business needs analysis and routine issue resolution. You will apply advanced theories, principles, and concepts to contribute to the development of new principles and concepts, leading the development of solutions to highly complex problems. Your role will involve a significant degree of autonomy, allowing for unreviewed action or decision-making, and you will be responsible for supervising and developing first-level supervisors and managers. In this position, you will leverage your extensive experience in managing the development of software systems within the Intelligence Community (IC), Federal Government, or commercial sectors. You will be expected to have a deep understanding of technical solutioning for complex, highly integrated systems, and provide direct program support to the Defense and Intelligence sectors. Your expertise in managing projects using various Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) models, including CMMI, SAFe, Agile, and cloud-enabled solutions, will be crucial. Additionally, you will manage contracts with multiple subcontractors and lead project teams of over 20 employees, acting as the client relationship manager. Your knowledge of enterprise-wide systems, system-to-system integrations, and system development processes will be essential in this role. You will also need to maintain an active TS/SCI clearance and be willing to undergo a polygraph exam. A Bachelor's degree is required, and a Master's degree along with relevant certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Professional (ACP) is preferred.
