About the position

The Data Architect at Accrete.AI is responsible for collaborating with data scientists, AI engineers, and cloud engineers to manage and prepare data for machine learning models. This role involves overseeing the entire data lifecycle, from ingestion to transformation, ensuring data integrity and alignment with machine learning requirements. The position requires a strong mathematical background and the ability to communicate complex data processes effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end ingestion, storage, transformation, and transport processes and architecture for client data.
• Develop and implement a data acquisition and implementation strategy for clients.
• Develop data schemas and ontologies for machine learning solutions.
• Identify, ingest, and align data sources with data schemas and ontologies.
• Ensure data integrity from capture to ingestion.
• Identify and document data ingestion anomalies resident in the source or as part of the ingestion process.
• Prepare and curate data for machine learning platforms.
• Test data retrieval processes to ensure proper rendering of data in machine learning models.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in information systems, mathematics, computer science or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of experience in data modeling, design, and foundational work for this position.
• Current U.S. government top secret clearance with eligibility for SCI and counterintelligence scope polygraph.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the Department of Defense or intelligence community.
• Experience working with AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Some experience coding in Java, Python, R, or C/C++.
