About the position

The Data Architect role is a hands-on position focused on designing and implementing data solutions specifically for healthcare organizations. The architect will work with technologies such as Snowflake, Azure Databricks, and Kafka to develop data pipelines, models, and APIs, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and data security standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand data requirements for healthcare applications and systems.
• Design and develop data models, data pipelines, APIs, and data processing workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, data scientists, and business analysts to ensure data solutions meet business requirements.
• Manage and maintain data architecture standards and best practices.
• Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with regulations such as HIPAA.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data solutions to ensure they meet performance and scalability requirements.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Azure Databricks, API development, and Kafka.
• Strong understanding of healthcare data and systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and data governance is preferred.
