The Data Architect II position is a critical role within our organization, focusing on the development and implementation of AI architecture solutions. This position is designed for a talented individual who will work closely with senior architects and delivery partners to ensure that all relevant project teams adhere to a common set of principles and patterns. The successful candidate will utilize a standard set of technology frameworks and libraries while applying architectural best practices that enhance execution velocity across projects. In this role, the Data Architect II will be responsible for researching and conducting proof of concepts (POCs) to ensure that solutions are built in alignment with platform principles and standards. This includes driving the architecture for key cross-team and cross-product development projects through the creation of architecture and design documents, as well as developing key code modules. Collaboration with data scientists and other AI professionals is essential to define the feasibility of use cases and to design the architecture for the AI platform effectively. The architect will also be tasked with selecting appropriate deployment models—whether cloud, on-premises, or hybrid—and ensuring that new tools are well-integrated with existing data management and analytics tools. Engaging with business and delivery partners to understand future requirements and the implications for architecture is a key responsibility. The architect will identify architecture solution alternatives, driving business requirements while keeping abreast of new technologies. Additionally, the role involves working closely with security and risk leaders to foresee and mitigate potential risks, as well as reviewing solutions and projects to ensure consistency with standard methodologies in data and analytics.
