Our client is currently seeking a Data Architect III for a remote position on a 6-month contract. The primary responsibility of this role is to plan, design, develop, and maintain the data architecture, data models, and standards for various Data Engineering projects. The Data Architect will ensure that new features and subject areas are modeled to integrate seamlessly with existing structures, providing a consistent view across the data landscape. This position requires a hands-on approach to data architecture, with a focus on developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation of the data architecture, data flows, and data models of the data warehouse, tailored for various audiences. In addition to the technical aspects, the Data Architect will provide direction on the adoption of cloud technologies, particularly AWS and Snowflake, while promoting industry best practices in the field of data warehouse architecture and modeling. The role demands a strong understanding of enterprise data architecture and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on data strategies and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in data modeling and a proven track record of building multi-dimensional enterprise data warehouses.
