As a Senior Manager in the Life Sciences Tech Consulting sector, you will play a pivotal role in delivering unparalleled service in information strategy. This includes a mix of service focuses such as information architecture, information management, and information governance. Your expertise will enable organizations to exploit source systems effectively, ensuring they provide a trusted, sustainable data stream for accurate and improved business intelligence (BI), enterprise performance management (EPM), and analytic applications. You will be responsible for organizing the underlying data in the most effective manner to provide timely access to information that enhances business performance. Additionally, you will help clients navigate the complexities of Information Strategy and Management, providing a unique business perspective rooted in modernized thinking. Your role will involve managing client engagement teams, working with a diverse range of clients to deliver professional services, and overseeing business development activities on strategic and global priority accounts. You will be expected to stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to your clients, effectively manage and motivate client engagement teams, and provide constructive feedback and coaching to team members. Responsibilities

  • Manage client engagement teams and deliver professional services to a variety of clients.
  • Oversee business development activities on strategic and global priority accounts.
  • Foster relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels.
  • Deliver quality client services and drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and budgets.
  • Monitor progress, manage risk, and keep key stakeholders informed about progress and expected outcomes.
  • Manage expectations of client service delivery and stay updated on current business and industry trends.
  • Effectively manage and motivate client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds.
  • Provide constructive on-the-job feedback and coaching to team members.
  • Cultivate and manage business development opportunities and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Assist in the strategy and implementation of Master Data Management, Data Governance, Enterprise Data Management, Enterprise Content Management, and Knowledge Management.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree and approximately eight years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately seven years of related work experience.
  • A minimum of six years' experience in providing complex consultative services in information strategy, big data architecture, information/data governance, master data management, data quality, and data integration in a life science or healthcare setting.
  • Strong working knowledge of modernizing information management concepts and practices.
  • Experience with modernized information management tools (e.g., Talend, Collibra, Atlas, Reltio, Trifacta, Tamr, StreamSets).
  • Proficiency in advising clients on the full data supply chain from data wrangling to data consumption via analytics.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue within existing clients and developing new prospects at the 'C' level of Fortune 500 companies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Engagement leadership experience, including managing junior consulting staff and client relationships.

Nice-to-haves

  • Degree emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Computer Science, IT or Engineering preferred; MBA desired.
  • Master's or PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience with big data platforms and cloud (Snowflake, AWS, Azure).
  • Experience with data and systems architecture (APIs, messaging).
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
