About the position

Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated Data Architect to join our Systems Engineering and Integration program. This role focuses on the development and analysis of data relationships and schemas, supporting data analysis needs across various teams, and ensuring technical solutions align with enterprise standards. The Data Architect will communicate technical plans to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, contributing to impactful deliverables that enhance operational capabilities within the Intelligence Community.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and analyze data relationships and schemas.
  • Interpret various repository systems and report on data holdings.
  • Collaborate with teams at different sites to support their data analysis needs.
  • Work with technical leads from other disciplines to ensure consistency in technical solutions.
  • Communicate technical plans to technical and non-technical team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools, particularly Confluence and Jira.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, especially HelpNow.
  • Experience with software development life cycle and coding or scripting.
  • Experience with application scalability and performance testing.
  • Experience with deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
  • Expertise in database architecture, modeling, and high availability.
  • Experience working in an Agile software development framework.
  • Experience designing and developing architectures with distributed and tiered applications or real-time data movement.
  • Expertise with large-scale application portfolios and cloud architecture security aspects.
  • Active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government-issued security clearance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with enterprise scale cloud and hybrid infrastructures for data metrics and architecture designs.
  • Experience performing data analysis and modeling.
  • Management of Configuration Databases.
  • Experience with data visualization strategies and Model Based System Engineering.
