About the position

As a Data Architect (Utility) at Volt, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the enterprise data management strategy for City Light. This position requires a strong focus on developing and implementing a data-centric approach within the organization, ensuring that data is standardized and integrated effectively across various departments. You will be responsible for establishing guiding principles that govern data architecture work, translating business needs into actionable data and system requirements, and ensuring that all processes have the necessary data to function optimally. Your expertise will be crucial in providing best practice solutions for data collection, storage, arrangement, usage, and removal. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that initiative and project-level solutions align with the strategic direction of the organization, adhering to established technologies, standards, processes, and the current and target state architectures for data across the enterprise. Additionally, you will support Business Architects and other Domain Architects during the solution analysis phase of initiatives outlined in the Utility Technology Roadmap, creating reference architecture documentation in the form of Information Structure Viewpoints. This role is essential for fostering a data-driven culture within the organization and ensuring that data management practices are robust and effective.

Responsibilities

Requirements
