As a Data Architect at Wipro, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing modern data platforms that are scalable, secure, and high-performance. Your primary focus will be on leveraging AWS services to build robust data solutions that meet the complex digital transformation needs of our clients. You will be responsible for architecting and deploying data platforms using services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, and Athena, ensuring that they are optimized for performance and aligned with business requirements. In this role, you will develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models, ensuring that they support business needs and are optimized for performance. You will also design, develop, and manage ETL/ELT processes to transform raw data into actionable insights, utilizing AWS Glue, Lambda, and other ETL/ELT tools to implement data ingestion and transformation workflows. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work closely with data engineers and developers to integrate data from various sources, ensuring data quality and consistency. You will monitor and optimize data platform performance, implementing best practices for data storage, indexing, and partitioning to enhance query performance. Additionally, you will use Python and other scripting languages to automate data workflows and processes, developing scripts for data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL/ELT) tasks. Security and compliance are critical aspects of this role, and you will ensure that the data platform adheres to security standards and regulations. You will implement data governance policies and procedures to safeguard data integrity and privacy. Furthermore, you will provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages continuous improvement and innovation in data architecture and solutions.
