About the position

As a Data Platforms Architect at Capco, you will be part of a dynamic Data Team that focuses on transforming business operations through effective data management and analytics. Your role will involve collaborating across various domains to develop strategic, data-driven solutions that drive client transformation. You will leverage leading data platforms and technologies to address complex problems, ensuring high-performance and scalable data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work on complex problems with a team of skilled professionals.
• Develop and implement low-latency, high-availability data platform solutions.
• Collaborate on the integration of data storage solutions.
• Focus on performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, and automation.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Learn and share knowledge across engineering teams to foster continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in designing or implementing Data Management and/or Analytics programs.
• Experience in designing or developing enterprise data solutions and integrations on a data platform.
• Ability to design and develop both physical and logical data models with defined metadata standards.
• Experience in developing ETL Data Pipeline and Data Modeling solutions for integrating data sets.
• Strong experience with ELT concepts and tools.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud solutions such as Data Factory, Data Bricks, and SQL Data Warehouse.
• Experience with Big Data platforms and tools.
• In-depth understanding of database management systems and their advantages and disadvantages.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with tools and languages including Power BI, QlikSense, Power Automate, and Python.
• Strong experience with Data warehousing methodologies and modeling techniques.
