About the position

The Data Architect position is focused on designing and implementing data architecture solutions, specifically utilizing data cataloging tools like Alation. The role requires extensive experience in data modeling, building data pipelines, and ensuring data lineage, particularly with tools such as Manta. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development and SQL, along with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data architecture solutions using Alation and other tools.
• Build data pipelines to ingest and transform data in Snowflake.
• Write complex SQL queries and develop macros in Excel.
• Ensure data lineage using tools like Manta.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 years of experience in Data Architecture.
• Proficiency in data cataloging tools, preferably Alation.
• Strong Python development skills.
• Mandatory experience in data modeling and architecture.
• Solid SQL query writing skills and Excel proficiency, including macros.
• Experience with ISO20022/BIAN standards.
• Experience in data lineage with tools such as Manta.
