About the position

As a Data Architect at Royal Technocrats Inc., you will play a pivotal role in developing a comprehensive data strategy and IT investment roadmap that focuses on harnessing and integrating data effectively. Your primary responsibility will be to define data solutions, infrastructure, and architecture that align with the company's goals. You will identify and propose opportunities to enhance business processes through efficient data solutions, ensuring that the organization remains competitive in a rapidly evolving data landscape. In this position, you will be tasked with researching future trends in operational data and data analytics, proposing the best methods to integrate these trends within the current data landscape. You will evaluate various data modeling tools to determine the most effective options for the organization. Additionally, you will develop, promote, and streamline self-service capabilities for both internal users and customers, empowering them to leverage data effectively. Your role will also involve preparing the conceptual data model and mapping the conceptual entities to physical tables. You will prepare the architectural framework for as-is analysis using The Open Group Architecture Framework (ToGAF) and provide proof of concept (PoC) for proposed solutions. This position may require travel to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S., providing you with a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to engage with different teams and projects.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in data architecture or a related role.
