About The Position
Nightwing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to join our team in the Washington, DC metro area. As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data architectures that support our clients' business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of data management, data modeling, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. You will collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives, ensuring that the data architecture aligns with the overall strategy of the organization. In this position, you will lead the data lifecycle, which includes requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. You will ensure the integration of new data solutions with existing systems and infrastructure, providing technical guidance and mentorship to data engineering teams. Regular reviews of existing data architectures will be part of your responsibilities, where you will recommend improvements based on the latest trends and technologies in data management and architecture. Additionally, you will document data development processes, standards, and best practices, and perform data maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting as needed.
