As a Data Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing solutions for complex data sets. You will lead the creation of enterprise data architectures, strategies, and solution recommendations that align with business objectives. Your responsibilities will include designing high-level conceptual and logical models that provide a comprehensive view of data requirements across systems and functions. You will establish processes to govern the identification, collection, and utilization of corporate metadata, ensuring its accuracy, validity, and quality. Additionally, you will provide leadership to system and local work groups, design and build both relational and non-relational databases, and translate business needs into long-term architectural solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in reviewing object and data models and the metadata repository to enhance data management and accessibility.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop solutions for complex data sets.
  • Lead the development of enterprise data architectures, strategies, and solution recommendations.
  • Establish processes for governing the identification, collection, and use of corporate metadata.
  • Provide leadership to system and local work groups.
  • Design and build relational and non-relational databases.
  • Translate business needs into long-term architecture solutions.
  • Review object and data models and the metadata repository to structure data for better management and quicker access.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with AWS Lake Formation/Glue & Databricks.
  • Proficient in designing, developing, delivering, and sustaining real-time search solutions using technologies like ElasticSearch, OpenSearch, and Apache SOLR.
  • Expertise in data modeling and SQL for administering, maintaining, and improving database systems and ETL data pipelines for Big Data analytics.
  • Experience in designing and delivering cloud-based solutions that connect disparate data sources.
