About the position

The Data Architect position is designed for an experienced professional to lead the design and enhancement of the company's data management systems. This role focuses on conceptualizing innovative data systems, providing technical leadership, and ensuring effective data delivery to support both operational and strategic goals. Responsibilities

• Design and enhance the company's data management systems, including data flows and integrations.
• Lead technical teams and provide guidance on reports, dashboards, and business intelligence.
• Ensure effective delivery of data to support operational and strategic goals.
• Oversee and support projects that modify or create new data flows.

Requirements

• 5+ years in data warehouse architecture, analytics, and business systems development.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of data management tools such as Oracle, Power BI, Informatica, and/or WhereScape DataVault Express.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field required; Master's degree preferred. Four years of additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Inmon and Kimball data modeling methodologies.
• Experience with Data Vault and domain-driven design.
• Experience within the insurance industry.
