About the position

The Data Architect position at Ariana Solutions involves designing and implementing scalable data engineering solutions using Azure and Databricks. Responsibilities

• Implement scalable and sustainable data engineering solutions using Databricks, Azure, Apache Spark, and Python.
• Create, maintain, and optimize data pipelines as workloads transition from development to production.
• Lead and build highly complex technical engineering teams.
• Work cross-functionally with product management and directly with customers to understand product and customer personas.
• Set and lead the technical vision while balancing business drivers.
• Handle large and complex sets of data from various sources and databases.

Requirements

• 10-14 years of relevant experience in data architecture and engineering.
• Bachelor's and/or master's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• At least two years of experience building and leading technical engineering teams.
• Strong hands-on experience in Databricks and Azure Cloud platform.
• Good SQL knowledge and experience with orchestrating workloads on cloud.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Unity Catalog.
• Familiarity with CI/CD methods.
• Good to have Teradata experience.
