About the position

The Data Architect position at ManpowerGroup involves collaborating with professionals to define software requirements, developing product specifications, and overseeing the development process to ensure quality and adherence to design principles. This role is crucial for ensuring that software solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements, with a focus on data architecture and system integration.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications.
  • Use tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interface of desired product.
  • Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility.
  • Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards.
  • Communicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to development team.
  • Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design.
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers.
  • Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc.
  • Approve final product before launch.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture.
  • Proficient in SQL, Python, and data scraping techniques.
  • Strong understanding of Data Security and Corporate Security policies and regulations.
  • Excellent documentation skills, role requires technical documentation of architect solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
