About the position

The Data Architect position in Tallahassee, FL is a full-time role focused on designing and implementing data architectures that are robust, scalable, and efficient. The role requires extensive experience in data management, governance, and cloud computing, particularly within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. The Data Architect will be responsible for integrating data from various sources, managing large data pipelines, and ensuring compliance with data security and privacy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient data architectures.
• Integrate data from various sources and manage large data pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with data governance principles and data security requirements.
• Provide excellent customer support and maintain meticulous quality of work.
• Utilize advanced T-SQL skills for database management and optimization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of overall experience in data architecture and management.
• 4+ years of experience in Synapse Analytics, Dedicated SQL Pools, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Managed Instance.
• 5+ years of experience in DDL, DML T-SQL, and advanced stored procedure writing.
• 4+ years of experience in data architecture design principles and best practices.
• 3+ years of experience in data governance principles and compliance requirements.
• 3+ years of experience in integrating data from various sources.
• 2+ years of experience in cloud computing concepts, particularly in Microsoft Azure.
• 1+ year of experience with programming languages such as Python or Scala.
• 1+ year of experience in Salesforce, Message MQ, and MuleSoft.
