About the position

The Data Architect Senior role at CLA involves leading the design, creation, deployment, and management of the company's data architecture. This position is crucial for defining how data is stored, consumed, integrated, and managed across various data entities and IT systems. The role emphasizes collaboration with business stakeholders to ensure data quality, integrity, and security while providing mentorship to junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data architecture solutions.
• Lead data integration and migration projects.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
• Responsible for creation and maintenance of formal description of the data and data structures, including data models, data flow diagrams, and data dictionaries.
• Provide training to junior members of the team and act as a point of escalation for complex questions and issues.

Requirements

• 5 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience with data architecture, data modeling, and database design preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.
