Responsibilities

  • Shape and maintain the integrity of the organization's data infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive data architecture that supports a range of data-driven initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment with VillageCare's strategic goals.
  • Champion the centralization of data and enhance interoperability between various platforms.
  • Adopt a medallion architecture and work with data governance and analytics teams.
  • Optimize the utilization of both internal and external data sources.
  • Lead initiatives in external data sharing.
  • Drive creative solutions to leverage data.
  • Collaborate with key IT leaders to execute a robust roadmap for a dynamic data infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years in large-scale data management, particularly within the healthcare domain.
  • Familiarity with managing teams and successfully executing data-related projects.
  • Proficiency in data modeling, database management, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
  • Solid educational foundation, ideally with a Master's degree in computer science or Information Technology.
  • Expert-level knowledge of AWS services, particularly Redshift.
  • Experience with HIPAA-compliant architecture models.
  • Technical expertise in SQL, R, Python, DataGrip, Informatica, and Tableau.
  • Understanding of FIHR, HL7, and EDI transactions.
  • Experience with performance monitoring and scheduling software.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
