About the position

The Data Architect at Lilly will play a crucial role in defining and implementing a robust data strategy and architecture for the new Lilly Lebanon Advanced Therapeutic facility. This position is responsible for ensuring that the facility is digitally enabled from startup, utilizing cloud technology to integrate IT and OT data. The architect will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver solutions that support efficient operations and drive the digital transformation of the site.

Responsibilities

  • Develop digital plant vision and roadmaps in collaboration with site stakeholders.
  • Influence site leadership on digital strategy to position technology as an enabler for strategic initiatives.
  • Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.
  • Design and oversee data integration processes to manage data from various sources.
  • Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for digital solutions that maximize value.
  • Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish technical vision and evaluate tradeoffs between usability and performance.
  • Provide leadership in the development and integration of IT solutions that support business processes.
  • Update project plans and oversee multiple projects and communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree/Masters in IT or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of work experience in pharma or equivalent environment.
  • Deep knowledge of Data Architecture and integration patterns.
  • Experience in design and delivery of manufacturing/business IDS solutions (MES, Data and Analytics).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of plant operations to ensure digital solutions meet business requirements.
  • Ability to network within the site and at a global level.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
