The Data Architect will be an integral part of the Information/Data Architecture Practice, supporting significant initiatives across Marketing, Sales, Service, and Portfolio sectors. This role demands a seasoned architect with a robust understanding of data architecture, hands-on experience in data model design, and a solid grasp of data quality analysis. The Data Architect will collaborate closely with enterprise architects, solution architects, business units, and product teams to formulate strategies, design data models, and establish information flows. Additionally, the role involves performing data quality analyses, setting standards and best practices, and guiding product teams in the implementation of these designs. In this position, the Data Architect will lead design discussions, create conceptual and logical data models, and maintain comprehensive data dictionaries. The architect will also define reporting strategies and identify data sources for reporting purposes. A critical aspect of the role is to perform data quality analysis, pinpoint issues, and propose effective solutions. The Data Architect will guide product teams in creating physical data model designs and ensure adherence to established standards and guidelines. Furthermore, the architect will facilitate discussions to understand data sources, establish systems of record, and create both current and future state data flows. The role requires the creation of an information architecture roadmap that outlines the immediate, near-term, and long-term views of data architecture. The Data Architect will be expected to work collaboratively with various teams, ensuring that the data architecture aligns with the overall business strategy and objectives.
