At Regions, the Enterprise Architect oversees multiple dimensions of assigned applications and/or capabilities including but not limited to stability, life cycle management, version control, design and development of technology solutions, mapping of business requirements to capability oriented technical requirements, and ensuring Technology solutions to business needs are developed in accordance with the enterprise architectural roadmap, guidelines, and standards. This role is crucial in managing the end-to-end process from conception through delivery and into production of enterprise architectures. The Enterprise Architect partners with business and technology subject-matter experts to elicit and translate business requirements into technological solutions, ensuring that the architecture aligns with the company's strategic goals. The Enterprise Architect leads the design and modeling of tactical architectures for the delivery, development, and support of projects. This includes designing both the physical and logical components of solution architectures that will deliver a positive business outcome. Collaboration is key in this role, as the Enterprise Architect works with other domain architects to provide a consensus-based scalable and adaptable architectural solution. Additionally, the position involves overseeing technical analysis and design capabilities, facilitating technology design workshops for emerging technologies, and validating designs produced by third-party vendors wishing to sell solutions to the organization. The Enterprise Architect also plays a vital role in aligning Information Technology strategy and planning with the company's business goals and objectives. This includes promoting the use of a shared infrastructure and application roadmap to reduce costs and improve how information flows within the organization. The position requires building and maintaining technical trusted advisor relationships with influential technical decision-makers within Technology and working with Portfolio technology leaders to include technical debt initiatives in the portfolio roadmap. This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
