About the position

The Data Architect at RLDatix is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's data strategy to ensure data accessibility, reliability, and security. This role is crucial for supporting critical business decisions and involves creating a master data catalogue and consolidated data mart across the product portfolio. The Data Architect will collaborate with various stakeholders to align data architecture with business objectives and oversee data integration processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the organization's data architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Design and implement data models, data warehouses, and data marts to support reporting and analytics.
  • Oversee data integration processes, ensuring data consistency and accuracy across systems.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Evaluate and recommend data management technologies and tools.
  • Ensure data quality and governance by implementing data standards and policies.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and analysts.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging data technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Architect with a strong track record of successful implementations.
  • Expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python and data visualization tools.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proven experience of industry leading data platform (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake).
  • Experience with data governance and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams in different global regions.

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field.
  • Certifications in data architecture or related fields.
  • Hands on experience of Databricks.
  • Hands on experience of Power BI.
