About the position

The Data Architect role involves collaborating with stakeholders and development teams to define project scope and translate business needs into technical solutions for data management. The position focuses on developing comprehensive data architectures that align with organizational goals, utilizing Azure data services, and ensuring efficient data flow and security.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders and development team to determine project scope and prioritize requirements.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions for data management.
• Identify data sources and devise a plan for data management aligned with organizational data strategy.
• Develop comprehensive data architectures using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, and other Azure data services.
• Create and maintain scalable and optimized data models that accurately represent the data landscape.
• Design, implement, and manage databases using Azure.
• Develop and manage ETL processes using Synapse Pipelines for efficient data flow to the data warehouse.
• Understand and implement data security best practices.
• Lead the design and implementation of data warehouse and data lake.
• Fix and resolve complex technical issues related to data integration and processing.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data solutions.
• Develop and maintain project documentation for future reference.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture and Modeling.
• Strong knowledge of Data Governance and IBM Data Management.
• Proficiency in Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure SQL.
• Experience in designing and managing databases in Azure.
• Ability to develop and manage ETL processes using Synapse Pipelines.
• Understanding of data security best practices.
