About the position

As a Data Architect at Merican Inc, you will play a crucial role in establishing, implementing, and documenting processes to manage user access, support, adaptation, outages, and the knowledge base. Your responsibilities will include building up-to-date user tracking dashboards that monitor onboarding, usage, and overall performance. You will also define and implement chargeback models to ensure efficient resource allocation and cost management. Additionally, you will track risks, actions, issues, and decisions in RAID logs to maintain project transparency and accountability. Your expertise will be essential in building proficiency in various vendor tools and certifications, including DataRobot, Tableau, Collibra, and Trifacta. You will engage in hands-on proof of concept (POC) and pilot work, collaborating closely with Line of Business (LOB) Engineers to deliver effective use cases. Furthermore, you will publish and communicate best practices for the tools utilized within the organization, schedule user groups, and coordinate training sessions to enhance user engagement and knowledge. This position is a contract-to-hire role, with an expected duration of 3 to 6 months, and is based in Nashville, TN. The role requires a strong background in data engineering, ETL processes, and reporting tools such as Tableau and PowerBI. You will be expected to work full-time, with a standard schedule of Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts. The pay range for this position is between $48.00 and $92.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in Data Engineering (Required)
  • 6 years of experience in ETL (Required)
  • Proficiency in reporting tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.
