About the position

The Data Architect role is focused on leading the development of data integration solutions, data modeling, and ETL processes for a southern California team. This hybrid position requires the candidate to be onsite in Irvine, CA once or twice a month, while the remainder of the work can be done remotely. The Data Architect will ensure the accuracy and completeness of data in the data warehouse and provide technical guidance to team members.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and maintains enterprise data sources and warehouse.
• Develops and maintains ETL processes.
• Develops and maintains data integration solutions utilizing industry best practices and tools, such as Microsoft Azure, Power BI, and Microsoft Purview.
• Ensures the accuracy and completeness of data in the data warehouse.
• Develops and maintains data models, data governance policies, and procedures.
• Provides technical guidance and support to other members of the team.
• Collaborates with EDW Business Analyst and business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data warehousing and business intelligence.
• Experience in a healthcare environment or non-profit preferred.
• Microsoft Azure experience (Microsoft Fabric preferred).
• Demonstrated experience in SDLC, ELT, data modeling, and data architecture.
• Experience with ETL tools and processes.
• Strong experience sourcing, modeling, and analyzing both structured and unstructured data using tools like SQL, Python, and other industry data modeling tools.

• Starting Salary Range: $110,000-$150,000
