About the position

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS architecture, data modeling, data pipelines, ETL/ELT, data governance, cloud infrastructure, security, AI/ML integration, and open-source technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize scalable, resilient data architectures using AWS services (S3, Redshift, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, etc.).
• Develop and maintain comprehensive data models for analytics and BI, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Implement efficient data storage solutions, managing data lakes and warehouses to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines, automating data workflows with tools like AWS Glue and Apache Airflow.
• Enforce data governance policies to ensure data quality, privacy, and compliance with industry standards.
• Design and manage scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure to support data processing and analytics.
• Implement and maintain robust security measures for data protection and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with data scientists to integrate and deploy AI/ML models into data pipelines.
• Leverage open-source tools such as Jupyter and Anaconda for data analysis and experimentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data architecture or data engineering.
• Expertise in AWS services, SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, cloud infrastructure, and security.
• Experience with AI/ML integration and open-source technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• AWS certifications.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
