As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for the design, oversight, and implementation of data architecture solutions, ensuring that data is accurately ingested, curated, and modeled. Regular interaction with senior management or executive levels will be a key aspect of your role, as you will advise on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers. You will exercise independent judgment in developing, approving, and maintaining a data hub as a central repository, managing data flow while ensuring high performance and reliability. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. You will also create and manage IoT and social web architecture, making data accessible and meaningful to business users. Compliance with data governance policies and best practices will be a priority, supporting data catalog and dictionary efforts. Additionally, you will oversee the integration of legacy data warehouses into the new data architecture, retiring outdated systems and maintaining system documentation used in design, testing, or programming efforts. Your technical guidance will contribute to the development of data architecture that supports business strategies, and you will provide mentoring for other team members.
